The fastest way and the best way to get your image on the flag and the website is to send me an email: right after donating. Tell me the name you used for your donation and the amount of donation.  I will send you an email invitation to join the site. You can then upload your image right away. (You can also send me your image via email but, the image needs to be processed manually and I will do the best I can to get to get it done.) I will put your image on the web and once I get confirmation from MIT, I will put your image on the flag as well.

Or you can go to the MIT on-line giving website at: http://giving.mit.edu/index.html
From that website, you can enter the account number (2739682) in the box that says By Fund Name/Number. You can also enter the fund name, Raising the Flag to Support Cancer Research Fund, or even part of the name: Raising the Flag, to direct gifts to the fund.

Email us if you prefer other methods of donation, i.e. check.

All proceeds go to MIT Center for Cancer Research . We get a list of email addresses of donors from MIT periodically. We will send out email with login information to this site, where you can post your story and update your customized image on the flag.

Any amount of donation is welcome! Every donor will be invited to join the site via email. He or she can then login and customize the part of the flag image and the part of the flag that are dedicated to him or her. Donors with over $100 donation can upload an image. The image will be placed on the image of the flag and the flag itself.

Your donation will be put to good use by the MIT Center for Cancer Research and your image will be show to millions of people. I can assure you that running with such a big flag on the street grabs everyone’s attention. It’s now up to you to take an action!

Finally, you will receive appropriate tax break documentation for your donation.
