Lecture on Cancer Research at MIT

Weather was great this morning for my usual morning run. I went to a talk about Cancer Research at MIT today by Jacqueline A. Lees, Professor of Biology, Associate Director of the Center for Cancer Research. Professor Lees showed us very interesting new approaches to diagnose cancer more rapidly and accurately, and to treat it more effectively. Two of them really impressed me. One of them involving using nano technology to make a "chip" that can detect cancer and implant it in to people. The other one involving comuter system analysis and mathematics to to figure out the most efficient way to stop certain cancer process. It's great to see how different science sort of merge together. I will try to get notes from her and post it online.
